and Accessories including a collection of fine shotguns, swords and edged weapons, Native

American accessories, Champlain Valley cannon balls, duck decoys, fishing items including a

large collection of ice fishing decoys, taxidermy, sports memorabilia including a large collection

of signed photographs including 1950s African American players, advertising including a large

collection of vintage beer cans, US gold and silver coins, a large collection of Royal Doulton

“celebrity”& “character” large toby pitchers, Arts & Crafts, oak, and Adirondack furniture, Old

Town Kingfisher canoe, toy soldiers, boat models, and much more.

This sale features military items descending from Captain Charles Augustus Ranlett (Maine

1804-1878) of the fast clipper ship “Surprise”, including Civil War material from his grandson

Col Seth Alonzo Ranlett (1840-1905) of the 36th Massachusetts Volunteers, and from his great

grandson Col Charles A Ranlett (1874-1961) WWI veteran and white tail deer hunting writer for

Sports Afield Magazine in the 1930’s.
